While you are on Mexico’s beaches, you can have the best of your time by being sporty, indulging in water-sport activities, getting social with your friends and family, or you can have your own solitude and peace of mind. Once you are on the beaches of Mexico, your vacations cannot get any better than this.

Out of the many beaches of Mexico, a few are listed below with their specialty explained in detail.

Cancun

It simply boasts a high paradigm of its own, with the white powdered sand that is such a cliché and seems so serene with the clearest water, so fair and gleaming with such an impeccable sandy bottom from which the light of the sun is reflected on the surface.

Cabo San Lucas

Also called the Lover’s Beach, Cabo is surely the place to go to for those, who can’t bear the 0 degree winters at home. This wonderful beach is the one with the rocky arch that beautifies itself and looks like a perfect picture postcard.

Zihuatanejo

The locals here call it the “Zihua”, and it is a one-mile-long Pacific shoreline. Playa La Ropa is among the top water sports locations that you can ever be at. It includes water skiing, parasailing, windsurfing, kayaking, banana boat rides, and scuba diving and a lot more.

You will be blown out by the European feel that it gives out, with its colorful holiday homes and hotels situated up on the hillside. You can just relax on a hammock and doze off to the sound of the waves and the warm sun.

Mayakoba

Mayakoba shows off its eye-pleasing scenery of lagoons and canoes, and it is quieter and more appealing than Cancun’s beach. Of course, it is the same sister-beach with unspoiled and flowing water. A chain of esteemed hotels have stationed themselves here, with their variety of huge suites, some providing private lagoons, outdoor showers and showers on the beach and similar facilities to their customers.

Tulum

This archaeological site being almost 1,000 years old attracts a huge tourist crowd to its must-see attractions like its beaches. In the last years, Tulum has transformed into an epicenter of small, in-budget eco-resorts and yoga centers, which seem to be running their businesses very well.

Puerto Vallarta

It strikes the tourists with the unmatched charm of its historic centre, which is mixed with Spanish Colonial architecture and the cobblestoned streets and is seen in the high-end showrooms and places to dine.

The beachfront is extensive, spacious, gently curved, which is great for swimming and relaxing. And this area has benefited by welcoming the LGBT community, who tend to gather around by the “blue chairs” at Los Muertos Beach.

Next time you plan a trip to Mexico, make sure that these beaches are on the top of your ‘must-see places’ list. Ensure that you take your camera along with you; you would surely not want to miss any perfect picturesque scenery to be captured by the camera’s lens!
