Even in today’s challenging financial times, there is no shortage of money in the world. Millionaires and billionaires do exist, and if you look in the right places, there are many of them. So the question that we all want to know is how do they do it. What makes these individuals and their ideas so successful and what makes them stand out from the crowd.

Many of our entrepreneurs have started their business empires and begun to make money at an astonishingly young age. So what gift is it that they are born with which gives them the unique ability to identify an opportunity, see it through and make it happen. How do these inspirational youngsters make succeeding in business today look like child’s play?

Most of today’s most successful business ventures have risen from the most humble of beginnings. Let’s take a look at some of the very best!

Take UK born Nathan John-Baptiste, aka the Wolf of Walthamstow. The now infamous tuck shop millionaire ran his empire from the school toilets with 11 employees working across three schools to earn £230 per day before the school got wise to his antics and closed him down.

Then there was the boy in the US who discovered a gold coin worth more than £250,000 in his toy pirate ship – and of course went on to sell!

Indeed selling or buying gold coins online, is just one way that some of these kidpreneurs have made their fortunes.

Mikaila Ulmer, founder of Me and the Bees lemonade began by selling her great-granny recipe for lemonade at school. Now she is CEO of one of the most successful soft drinks companies around.

Then there is Alina Morse who developed her teeth-friendly or  ‘Zollipops’ at the tender age of just nine years old. Since then she has visited the White House on her own merits on more than one occasion as a personal guest of Michelle Obama.

Bringing it back to modern day, Take a look at internet sensation and blogger extraordinaire Zoella. Born in the UK, Zoe Sugg, Zoella began her fashion and beauty blog in 2009, jumping onto the YouTube bandwagon. Today, Zoella is reported to earn in the region of £50,000 per month and commands more than 11,000,000 of loyal YouTube followers. Not bad eh!

In 2010, American born Robert Nay, a self-confessed gaming addict, developed and launched a new mobile game app called Bubble Ball which was to dramatically outsell Angry Birds receiving more than 1,000,000 downloads in its first two weeks. So maybe all that time spent in front of computer screens isn’t all bad.

Wherever they have found their inspiration, these extraordinary youngsters have nearly all gone on to achieve and aspire to even greater things than those already achieved. So next time your kids tell you about their latest and greatest idea. Take a moment to listen – they could have just come up with the next best thing!
